The Boerum Heights Condos? 100% SOLD OUT.In what could be the Brooklyn real estate surprise of the year, this project, which abuts the Atlantic Yards project, has completely sold out its' 120 (estimated) units. Whodathunkit? Naysayers, including yours truly, wondered who would want to buy on this very busy pedestrian- and automotive-trafficked block.
Apparently this didn't sway potential purchasers negatively. We're surprised. Who else is surprised?

that is surprising. however, i seem to remember when i was looking to buy around this time last year, they said they were sold out even though they were only part way through construction and clearly were not since apartments hadn't gone on sale yet.
I think you're confusing the cause with the effect. Ratner wants the "blighted" corner of Prospect Heights because it is valuable real estate. He's just the only one who wants $2 billion in public subsidies to build his private development.
I'm not surprised. It was a well priced development in an area that's only going to improve over time. And its further away from Ratnerville than the Newswalk condos and One Hanson Place, both of which appear to be doing fine!
they're still advertising in NYTimes Real Estate... "only 3 units left".
honestly, i doubt they sold all 71 (or 68) by now. Isn't it more likely they're just through a couple stages of unit releases?
They've sold them all -- I checked -- the 3 (now 2, apparently) units left were also in contract, but the buyers were unable to close, so they're back on the market. Other than those, all the rest are in contract or have closed.
