Precipitous drop at Fort Greene duplex rental
The duplex rental whose owner was asking for $4000 per month and an extra $300 for the parking spot has found the going tough. Back in early December, there was a craigslist ad asking $4000. The building is located across from the Greene House Condos and featured 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths.The latest craigslist ad lists the same apartment for a more-sane $2700. At this price, we rate this a quick rental.

I think this is a different apartment in the same building. The $4000 unit was a duplex. This is a ground level apartment.
is this building cursed or what? i first moved to the neighborhood in 2001 and it was empty and has been pretty much every since. what's the deal with it? you couldn't ask for a better location, except of course for the unobstructed view of that tower thing across the street.
