655 Washington condos

The Modern Post, as 655 Washington Avenue is called, is being marketed by Aguayo and Huebener. 10 units are listed, at prices ranging from $392K to $789K.

One unit is priced at $780 psf - 832 square feet for $649K. Judge for yourself by looking at the floorplan here.

One thing the apartments have going for them is the nice white kitchens pictured at left.

In general, these seem overpriced for today's market. The units also have awkward, small layouts and the bedrooms are tiny - some measure in at only 9' x 9'4".

Open house on Sunday from 1 to 4PM.

overpriced. the back units also overlook a oh-so-pretty auto salvage shop.

This isn't Scarano, it's Durukan Design

Her firm has been involved with a number of projects in the area including 1382 Bedford, 961 Bergen, 375 Franklin, plus interiors on projects like the firehouse condos and pacific blue.

It's a charming building. I liked the big living rooms and the floor to ceiing windows.

i think 10:08 meant is the architect scarano, not the interior designer, which would be durukan. she also did the washington condos.

Durukan lists this project under "Residential Architecture" on her website rather than in the "residential interiors" where projects like Pacific Blue and the Firehouse are listed.

On the DOB website there was an application back in 04 by Scarano that was later withdrawn, on all other filings there is no mention of him. The applicant of record is shown as Saverio Tarantino of Tarlan Design Build, LLC which I can't find any info on.
