Vanderbilt Condos on market

This building, located on Vanderbilt Avenue, next to the car wash on the corner, has a few units on the market. Perplexing, because we thought this was a rental building. For the longest time, the building stood there as if completed, but we never heard of rental units. Corcoran now has a few units on the market. Prices range from $449K to $549K for 932-1032 square foot two bedroom, two baths.

These are a tough sell, as they are located on a street with a few random dilapidated brownstones, a car wash that's frequently busy and the Vanderbilt Avenue bus. No to mention that the apartments are across from a grey high-tech office building.

They used to have a huge sign in the window saying available for rent with a phone number, which I gave to someone I knew who was looking for an apartment, but when he called, they said they were condos, not rental properties. Why the sign I have no idea.

I have seen these units inside. They are actually as nice as many new constructions.. surprised ! Location is actually very good, next to prospect heights, one block away from C line, and a few blocks away from Atlantic station
