Chowhounder disses Locanda Vini e Olii
A chowhound (http://www.chowhound.com/topics/378916) reader apparently made a reservation for 6PM one day, showed up to a "real sketchy part of Clinton Hill" and found that the restaurant was not even open yet! Another reader defended Clinton Hill, by saying "Not a sketchy neighborhood at all, just a residential one. You certainly wouldn't think it "sketchy" if you saw what the houses cost over there now."

No it is not a sketchy area. . .I've lived here for 3 years and Vini e Olii is in a quiet, residential. The thing is, without any other business around it seems like it's in the middle of no-where, but it is only a few blocks from the subway and Pratt University.
These people are paranoid.
