Parking meters going up in Fort Greene

After a study by the NYC DOT, the city has started putting up the metal stands on which the parking meters will be affixed upon. We noticed them on Fulton St. between South Portland and South Elliott and also on Lafayette between Fulton and South Elliott. There may be others.

Parking will now be a little bit more cutthroat.

Wow, that's awful. In the past five years, parking has gotten harder by at least 100%, and now it'll get even worse. Our destiny is the upper west side, hanging out in our cars, double-parked, circling the block endlessly.
