Clermont Greene pricing released
The Clermont Greene condos have released their pricing and it stands in the mid 650's to low 700's per square foot.The 9 released units include 518 sf studios for $350K to a large 1,539 square foot 3 bed, 2.5 bath for $1.05MM.

What kind of jobs do peoplehave that they can afford to pay $4000 a month for a condo. I live in the area and make over 70K a year and I can't fathom paying that even with my spouse working. You just can't sleep knowing that you might miss a mortgage payment. And god forbid someone gets sick or you lose your job. It's so unrealistic. It's no wonder the bubble burst on real estate. There are so many condos going up in the area and barely any of them are really selling. Some have been empty going on two years. Builders need to be realistic.
i lived in fg and couldn't afford to buy there, so i concentrated on prospect heights. you need to do the same thing.
move on from ft greene. the quicker you do that, the less bitter you will be.
many ppl are trading up - selling old apts they got for a lot less and buying in fg, so that's one way ppl make the 4k payments. others have dual incomes, no kids, and both spouses prob. bring in 300k+
