New condos at Myrtle and Johnson in downtown Brooklyn
While developers and city politicians wax poetic about a new 40-story luxury condo going up at the corner of Myrtle and Johnson, not everyone is so happy. The Brooklyn Papers article quotes Michael Burke, director of the Downtown Brooklyn Council as saying, "you will see a nice-looking building with beautiful streetscapes."

The developer in question, Ron Hershko, only said "we're pushing it to the next level." Indeed...
