Opening night at One Hanson Place Condos
A typically monstrous affair, with red carpet, catered h'ors doeuvres and drinks, an appearance by Magic Johnson, free bank vault locks, but no live music. I think the crowd was filled with workers from the development, real estate and legal teams. The booklets for the apartments were on the check-in desk-- they were easy to miss. No one offered them. Meanwhile, on Corcoran, the first units are on the market. Here's a 1,305 square foot two bedroom, two bath for $962K.

what a laugh that they are marketing it as "brooklyn's tallest". not for long, if frank gehry's "miss brooklyn" gets built as planned!
...Or that it's even in Fort Greene.
