Prospect Heights - sign o' the times

A shell in Prospect Heights is on sale and being offered for $1.4MM by Brooklyn Properties. As the ad states, there are blueprints and permits for two duplex units. Do any of the readers out there know where this Federal-style building is located?

Quite a high price, considering the investor/developer will need to sell each duplex for $900K - $1MM to make any type of return.

The guy tried to sell this on his own without a broker at first. He bought this building for about 400,000 according to property Shark a couple of months ago and is trying to make a killing.I heard the previous owner was desperate and was taken huge advantage of.

on top of it all, it is opposite the police station and around the corner from the fire station, one of the worst spots in PH.

My first shop was two doors away from that building for 5 years. It's a noisy location and that particular building has been trashed. During the last few years I was there, it was a sort of squat, with the last paying tenant driven out by rats, hanging laundry and bags of garbage rotting in the hallways. The block itself is the police parking lot, which I discovered never received the attention of any street cleaners, because the police would have to move all their cars. Whoever is asking for that price surely must be joking.
