Stabbing death in Prospect Heights

A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death on St. Mark's Place, according to the NYT.

Note that St. Mark's Place is actually in Park Slope, so perhaps they meant St. Mark's Avenue.

BROOKLYN: MAN IS FATALLY STABBED A 22-year-old Brooklyn man was stabbed to death early yesterday morning on a street in Prospect Heights, the police said. The victim, Ronnie Kendall Davis, left, of Fulton Street, was stabbed once in the chest, the police said, after he left a friend's apartment shortly after midnight. His friends heard him arguing with someone outside, looked out a window and saw him lying between parked cars in front of 412 St. Mark's Place, the police said. He was pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital Center. Detectives were investigating possible motives yesterday and had made no arrests. Al Baker (NYT)

The World gets enough of this from the Big Media. Do us all a favor and leave reporting the dark side to the newspapers who thrive on horror.
This happens in every neighborhood in the city of NY. Brooklyn Heights alone (not where I live) has had bomb threats, shootings, stabbings, and all the other horrific happenings of a Metropolis. And, regardless of what anyone in Park Slope wants to believe, Brooklyn Heights will ALWAYS be the premier Brooklyn nabe. Postings like this are unwelcome negative press for a certain neighborhood...especially one with an already overcharged populous.
Don't let lack of readership cause you to fail this way.
It's the holiday season...shock us with happiness and warm feelings.

Happy Holidays to you and yours. :)
