Atlantic Yards housing to move to Crown Heights?

A new article today mentions that Assemblyman Roger Green of Prospect Heights is proposing that housing for the Atlantic Yards project be move to the area around Grand Ave. and Bergen St. on the far eastern edge of Prospect Heights and Crown Heights. This is only a few blocks from the Washington Condos also.

Quite an interesting development, as this area seems to be ripe for development. A recent bike ride through the area confirms that it is full of auto-body shops and warehouses.

The article duly notes:

The blocks are home to many car repair shops, small factories, a few homes and retail businesses. Green insists many owners would sell or could be relocated. He called many of the businesses "chop shops of dubious ownership."

Is there a place that lists details of his proposal?

The article mentions moving a third of the residential units which are a mix of market rate and affordable.

I remember hearing a proposal to move all the affordable units to another location which I think would be really bad.

If the proposal is residential development at Grand and Bergen with a mix of both market rate and affordable at that location I could be for this. However, if the idea is to develop a purely affordable developement at this location I will be strongly opposed.

Any more info on how his proposal is structured?
