Flips at the Gretsch in Williamsburg

We received an email today from an agent at Elliman on 5 different units geared towards 'investor clients' at the Gretsch building in Williamsburg. Seems like the units in this apartment may have recently closed, so the owners are now flipping them.

Among the units are:
- 685sf alcove studio with southern exposure: Asking price is $500K, CC is $236
- 891sf one bedroom with 1.5 bathrooms: Asking price is $635K, CC is $260
- 1023sf one bedroom facing south with balcony: Asking price is 735K, CC is $317
- 1170sf one bedroom facing south with balcony: Asking price is $795K, CC is $399
- 1452sf two bedroom corner unit with southern and western exposure (river view): Asking price is $999K and the CC is $381

As the agent wrote,
'For those of you who don't know, the Gretsch building is an amazing luxury loft
conversion that was recently completed and has great views from most units. The
construction quality is triple A and all the units are in mint condition (never
been lived in). The kitchen and bathrooms are from the future designed
by designer Andres Escobar (you haven't seen anything like it). There are several celebrities living in the building and there is a fulltime doorman and a concierge.'

I do recall Busta Rhymes having purchased two units there...

I think Busta is one of those flippers. He will never live there.

Several Celebrities, is that supposed to make it easier to fork over $600,000+ to live there? TACKY!!
