Ft. Greene development deal

One of our readers, who also happens to be in contract on the Greene House Condos, forwarded us an Elliman listing for a very large 43' x 200' lot on South Portland between Hanson Place and Atlantic Avenue. They claim 41,000 sq ft of buildable FAR. Asking price is $10MM.

If you click on the listing, you'll see the two family house that is also included. We've always wondered who lived in there. Another view of the property is below.

"...beautiful residential block..." - that's quite a stretch, isn't it? Isn't this basically across the street from the backside of Atlantic Center and soon to be in the shadow of Ratnerville?

that wording is par for the course for re brokers. anyone who takes them at their word these days deserves to get ripped off, i guess.
