More 70 Washington complaints

Over at curbed.com today, more writers chime in on the offering plan and contract stipulations. Among other things, the developers of 70 Washington have demanded a 1% flip tax of sorts to be handed over to the condo association upon selling. In addition, they want the buyer to pay the seller's attorney costs, which we found to be a no-brainer given that this is how most new construction works in the NYC area. Another rues the fact that the offering plan has prices that are 11% lower than current asking prices... Well no shit, sherlock! That's why you have to get in early!

That is the norm, I have never seen an offering plan where the purchasers weren't paying the attorney fees of the sponsor.
