Young gangbangers continue their fervent gunplay.

Last weekend, three youths were shot in various areas, including their legs and buttocks, after a fight at a baby shower broke out at the corner of Dean and Washinton. The shooting occurred at around 12:06AM on Sunday morning, the day god rested.

Last night, four teens were shot at Clermont and Greene.

Phone muggings continue in Prospect Heights

Just at 6:20pm tonight, a girl was followed into her building by a guy who asked her for the time and then snatched her phone.

At 3:20am this morning, an ex-con stabbed the bartender at Branded Saloon 8 times, according to one report.

Hit and run at Flatbush and Prospect Place Sunday AM

A 22-year old and 23-year old woman were both hit by a green Acura Legend heading northbound. One of the girls worked for Mayor Bloomberg's office.

The ABC News website reports that one of the women is brain dead.

Teen phone thief stalking potential victims at Park and Vanderbilt

Here's the play by play on a teen would-be thief in red jacket who awaits his prey on a bike at the corner of Park Place and Vanderbilt.

Just tonight, the commenter who goes by the name 'jeffrey' was walking around the vicinity a few times as well as driving around in his car and notices that the kid is pacing back and forth looking for potential victims on their phones or listening to ipods.

The cops were notified and they were on the case, but the would-be punk was able to avoid arrest.

Muggers to start targeting Gryson bags in Fort Greene?

No longer the sanctum of the "non-for-profit sector" (see 2:26PM comment) workers who found Fort Greene to once be very liveable and affordable, this Brooklyn Eagle crime blotter listing proves it.

To quote, "An purse-snatcher grabbed a woman’s handbag as she was heading home early on Feb. 2.

The 31-year-old victim was walking along Carlton Avenue, near Lafayette Avenue, at around 1 am, when a man wearing a dark blue jacket asked for her help. The woman, rightly suspicious, said she couldn’t help him and kept walking. The criminal decided to eschew tricking her, and simply ran behind her and grabbed her bag from her arm as he went past.

There were credit cards, a monthly Metrocard, and ID cards inside the purse, but the most valuable thing was the bag itself — it was a Gryson bag, worth $715, cops said."
