Liquors to turn into a tapas joint
The proprietor of Cafe Lafayette in Fort Greene has plans to turn the old Liquors space into a tapas place, according to the Brooklyn Papers.
The opening is planned in two months when the liquor license comes through.

What's entertaining about this is that CL has had a BYOB phase recently while it sorted out its own liquor license.
thanks for the news!
moroccon tapas is not my first choice, but i'm really excited for anything to move in there.
More bad food in a neighborhood starving for a decent restaurant.
Actually, Charles does a pretty good job. He opened Chez Oskar and the food was great for a few years. Than he lost the place in a soap opera with an ex-girlfriend and the food took a turn. I'm interested in seeing what come out of it. Cafe Layayette is hit or miss, mostly, I find, depending on if he's keeping on eye or not
