Washington Condos penthouses on market

Two of the penthouse units in the A building are on the market. A6A, at 1198 square feet is listed at $729K while A6B, at 1733 square feet is listed at only $749K. Looks like the 3 bedroom, 2 bath 1,733 square foot unit is the best bang for the buck - only $432 psf. Bargains, anyone??

Looks like the rumor isn't true.

I am considering buying in the Washington. Am I crazy? Anyone think there is flexibility in the pricing?

hahah..very funny..aguayo and its employees once again prove to everyone how great of a real estate firm they are...by publicly pointing out in a public forum the apartment of the alleged author of this blog. is it no wonder that aguayo & huebener gets flogged as one of the worst real estate firms in existence?

so the author of this blog is ashamed to show his face, yet you so bravely write this comment without leaving your email address?

such integrity and bravado should be an endeavour by all re salespeople out there..maybe then your profession would get some respect. not.

here's what 10:01pm originally wrote; unit has been redacted:

**********************************

Whomever is writing this blog . My guess is it is a coward who is ashamed to show his face. I will bet it is the alleged male owner of unit *** (redacted by admin). Your time would be better spent getting your own home in order. You should also hire out yourself to do computer work and maybe then you could afford to buy the 1733 square foot penthouse with fab views and a real deck unlike the one you got.Thank you though for pointing out our error on the web which priced the penthouse at 749K when it should be 849K ,,,,,,Thank you for keeping that funky eye out for our web
Respectfully
faboulous r/e salesperson

to the original commenter: no, you are not crazy for considering this bulding. but caveat emptor when it comes to a&h. they don't work for you nor do they have your best interests at heart.

but more importantly, consider that their employees have no qualms publicizing someone's apartment number (and by extension the person) in a public forum. now, is this someone that you trust handing over your social security number and your most private financial statements? not me.

this should give every buyer, seller, sponsor, developer pause in dealing with a&h. i know it does for me.

Why is there so much agita and drama around A&H? How do they keep getting so many good buildings and listings if they are such a pain to deal with?

And lastly, can someone tell me once and for all why they have two damn websites?

why someone at a&h would resort to a personal attack is beyond me. set speed has done a lot to publicize the building. seems to me they're shooting themselves in the foot.

on the floor plan that penthouse is listed as 1418 sq ft, not the 1733 the website lists. I guess the 1733 includes the balcony space as well.

Anyway, with the price corrected to $849k and the sq. ft. reduced to 1418 it is just under $600/ft. Still not a bad deal but not the $432/ft bargain that it originally appeared to be.

Get off the bandwagon Lt it's just irresponsable to assume that someone from A&H posted that comment. There are plenty of jealous brokers and firms that could have easily posted that. And the fact that it's anonymous?? Don't give yourself so much credit to think that they need to post on this blog.

nice smoke screen by an ah employee above. how else would have they known the unit number and the correct price of the apt??

they can't even hide their own lies..

i'm a buyer at the washington and believe me, ah reads this site. perhaps not everyone, but enough people at the office do.

Seriously, I doubt they posted that! Any number of people can have that info. Get over yourself and save your energy.

I posted the above, not an A&H employee but an OWNER at The Washington!! There is one particular person I believe posted the comment, and they were once in contract at The Washington and have been nothing but obnoxious with their vile e-mails sent to people in contract. A&H has done a great job by me. Oh well.

11:10 - The floorplan they attached to the listing is not correct. It is the same one as A4C. I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and just assume this is an internet glitch.

tsk tsk tsk...damage control time, eh? caught in your own web of lies:

"pointing out OUR error on the web which priced the penthouse at 749K when it should be 849K "

you want to tell me again another buyer wrote this? OUR means a&h...

...slowly destroying what's left of a&h's reputation...peggy or roslyn would do well to fire you..

Wow, This is rediculous. Sounds like someone has a grudge and posted that comment and the same person is saying crap about A&H. I for one don't care!!! I just wanted to get info on the building, I think you people have lost it. Does anyone know where I can get actuall info on the project and the stuff around the washington??

I agree it is rediculous, but what do you expect from blogs with other brokers or malicious nobody's postiong. I do have this to say, I have been dealing with A&H for quite a while on both ends of the market, and they are by far one of the better brokers around. Although I believe the rumor to be true to stay away from the 7th avenue office. My 2 cents ya'll.. Do check out the washington it is a pretty nice project.

To the first person that posted (interested in buying). My recommendation is that you check out all the blogs posted regarding the washington condo. Also - confirm that they have obtained a permanent CofO - not a temporary. It appears that the developer is about to leave some punch list items for the buyers - which could be an absolute nightmare! Lastly - I agree with another post - the agents for A&H are not looking out for your best interest. So think long and hard if you really want to pay someone you will need to follow-up with consistently because they don't listen!

Just a reminder, agencies that market developments don't work for, or get paid from the purchaser. They need to have the developers best interest at heart or try to find a middle ground.
