Nice piece of ass @ Fort Greene's Forte Condos

Continuing on brownstoner's theme of 'ass,' there's a nice ass on the Forte Condos web page. Shown on the left, it's on the 'amenities' page of the web page, which now has a lot of information, including floor plans.

Topping out at 30 glorious stories and containing 108 condo units, the project is quite interesting. Surely though, some detractors will balk at the 30 stories at Ashland and Fulton.

There's a mix of many units - 1 bed, 1 baths, 1 bed, 2 baths, 2 bed, 2 baths and 3 bedroom units. Some units have lot-line windows, which will be important to note. The higher units seem to also be set back a bit from the original footprint, as the square footage is not quite as comparable.

The project seems to be a middle-of-the-road one, as they mix GE appliances with Dornbracht fixtures. Also be sure to check out the 4 different bathroom choices.

It will be interesting to see how these price out compared to One Hanson Place.

Prices can be found by calling the sales office at 718-855-1500.

The 1BR loft apartment with 1 Bath starts at $500,000 and the 1BR with 2 Baths that can convert to 2 Bedrooms starts at $800,000 on the 15th floor. 65% of the building is two bedrooms and range in price from $810,000 to about $1.1M. We priced most of the two bedrooms below $1M. The three bedrooms start at $1.1M. These prices are comparable to the new residential buildings being built in Dumbo and at One Hanson.
Open views of Midtown Manhattan can be had once we clear the BAM Harvey Theater (above the 7th Floor).
