Ratner's payoffs to Atlantic Yards residents

The NY Times writes today about how FCRC owns 90% of the land for the Atlantic Yards project and how they gave equitable offers to homeowners for their units in the Atlantic Arts building.

One couple who paid $419K for their unit was given $1.1MM. Some moved to Manhattan with their windfall while others traded up in more desirable parts of Brooklyn.
