Gnarly Wines on Myrtle to open in the fall

The Brooklyn Papers has an article about an oenophile who plans to open up shop on Myrtle between Adelphi and Clermont. Apparently, this was no easy task, as the State Liquor Authority pulled out all the stops in order to prevent him from opening up.

Among other reasons, the SLA said that there were already four other alcohol stores in the immediate area. But Brian Robinson was not to be deterred. He took his pleas to a judge and in September, his store, Gnarly Wines will open.
