Newswalk and Ft. Greene in the FT!

Surprising link on dailyheights today on a woman who lives in Newswalk and wrote an article for the Financial Times. Surprising because I never thought an article on Brooklyn real estate would appear in a British financial paper. Short of it is that she moved from East Village to Brooklyn-- to the Newswalk Condos in Prospect Heights, specifically.

Others are afraid that Brooklyn will turn into Manhattan, that is, white, elitist, Puma-clad mothers, luxury SUVs, etc. Sorry to say, that is already happening. In Ft. Greene, I see many people with Range Rovers and Audi Allroads and those are only the ones I see parked on the streets.

Also, there's an interesting mention of a lawyer who purchased (half) a townhouse in Ft. Greene once they had a baby.
