Real Estate vindication?
About a month ago, saw a listing on Corcoran for a condo on the edge of Clinton Hill on Clifton Place aka the Ping Pong building. It was a 1200 sqft 2bed 2bath for $549K. I watched this listing with interest, because I thought it may have been a bit overpriced. There were no signs of it having been sold. Then I found the same listing on craigslist . Apparently the sellers are now offering a cash incentive of over $8400, which represents a year's worth of maintenance charges. It's good to see that the market is not completely crazy.
The 35 Underhill condos have larger units at about 1475 sqft going for basically the same price and they also have 3 bedrooms and the carrying costs are less than half this.
