Walmart comes to Elmhurst / Rego Park!

Gotta show the neighborhood where I grew up some love. For those who have been on the Boulevard of Death lately down by Elmhurst and Rego Park, you have noticed the old Macys Building, which is now a Target and Best Buy, among other things. Walk a block further away from Manhattan and you will see the shopping mall that has the highest per capita sales in New York City. (editor's note: I believe this is still true). Now word comes today via Newsday that WalMart will be opening up nearby. See the Newsday link .
