Fort Greene hate crime?

Fort Greene's reputation as being a tolerant and multicultural neighborhood took a hit this morning when it was revealed that a house on Lafayette between Carlton and Adelphi was sprayed with graffiti. In addition, a note was left on the door. The catalyst for this? A huge Israeli flag hung from the window of the apartment. Tipped off by the Brooklyn Record, it was no wonder we saw the police car idling outside this morning the roped-off apartment.
