How to buy in DUMBO for only $618 psf
A reader has tipped us off that Corcoran has lowered the asking prices on the beacontower @ 85 Adams. Earlier this week, all the listings were removed, but they have shown up today and you can now get a 1,165 square foot 2 bed, 2 bath for a bargain basement price of $720K.
Given the negative press on Boymelgreen from this past Sunday's scathing article on 57 Front, this is another golden opportunity for buyers to go in for the kill.

is there a significant difference the original prices?
one reader emailed that this was a 30% decrease from before. quite a decrease, if you ask me.
2B and 2C were 675K, now 550K
8B and 8C were 610K, now 485K
10B and 10C were 620K, now 500K...you get the idea. (the higher prices were from mid Dec 05)
most of the units reduced face the highway. makes a lot of sense for boymelgreen to get rid of these cheaply.

corcoran simply backed off one to two price increases. the units are still beyond original offerings. duh loser.
doesn't it just suck when you realize that your job will soon be rendered extinct because a blog like mine puts the power in the buyer's hands? i would be upset too..btw, thanks for continuing to increase my hits. you'll be back for more. i just know it.
