Union Market - fraud alert
Via racked, we learn from Gotham City Insider that one of Union Market's trucks was caught double-parked next to Rossman's Fruits in the very unsexy environs of 26th Street and 3rd Avenue in Sunset Park.I hope Union Market issues a rebuttal soon, or their business is about to take a hit from this consumer..

Huh? What's so bad about getting fruit from a distributor in Sunset Park? Would you rather they get it from a distributor in the Bronx?
well, i thought union market fruits were organic, but i could be wrong. rossman's stuff is just so damn cheap and seems to spoil two days later. and for union mkt to buy apples for 99c a lb there and turn around and sell for 3 bucks seems wrong when their distributor is just 30 blocks away...

Did anyone actually SEE a Union Market representative buy anything from this distributor? Or did anyone SEE them loading produce from that distributor into their van?
All I see now, are innuendos without any support by facts.
