Educated at Parsons School of Design, designer Kate Bogdanoff approaches interior space with an organic-modernist sensibility. Originally, this design movement is most closely associated with . The approach stresses the unity of form and function of a space, the relationship of parts of a space to it's whole and the close relationship between the building and the natural landscape.
Decoratively speaking, Kate interprets Organic-Modernism as clean lines, natural materials, and a combination of comfort and practicality with an eclectic flair for unusual artwork and decorative pieces. Form, color, texture and balance are central to each design decision. The final product is always harmonious, interesting and stylish. Clients include entrepreneurs, business professionals as well as other designers in various fields. The design studio has been open since 2004.
