Hipster Fort Greene

The Brooklyn Record notifies us of a new boutique that is soon to carry Earnest Cut and Sewn and APC. Hot damn!! We bought a pair of APC jeans in Paris that we haven't washed in over a year and a half-- the better to break it in. Holla!!

i went there also - SOHO it ain't. This is FORT GREENE, the average resident is not buying a 600.00 goose down coat and those 800.00+ handbags.

Men's selection is limited. I'd say its 70/30 womens to mens.
Prices are high. The cheapest thing I saw in the store was a scarf for $65. There may have been a knit cap for about the same price. Jeans were in the $200-$400 range. Sweaters $250+, jackets $300+. (I was only looking at the mens stuff, I assume women's was same or more)
Frankly I was disappointed, was hoping for something more like Addy and Ferro one block over which does a great job of mixing style and affordability.

Went in, it's beautiful. Can't wait to blow my paycheck there.

Thanks for keeping the sign!
