Looking forward to this?

Presented at this morning's Atlantic Yards press conference is Gehry's new design for his skyscrapers. How does the Nets arena fit into that picture? I don't see it. Has it been subsumed within that blob-ulous white structure?

Note the PC Richards/Modells site now has a very large Metrotech-like building on it.

And for some reason, with the Bank Condos in the forefront and is that the Atlantic Center in the back? It looks larger than it really is. Perhaps FCRC is trying to engage in some not-to-scale hijinks?

I wonder how this is going to effect condo sales of new developments nearby like One Hanson and Forte... Not only are the views from those buildings gpong to be significantly blocked, but how will an additional 2800 condo units affect the market. It seems like between this place and the others, the number of total condo units in the area is going to double (at least) in the next 5 years. Coupled with the softness of the housing market, its kind of scary for those who bought in the last 2 years.
