The Washington before there was anything there


Here's a Microsoft Local view of 35 Underhill before there was any construction, any digging, etc.

Quite interesting. you can see a few trailers parked on what is now the A building and absolutely nothing on top of what is now the B building.

From what I can see, the only 4 lots on that block are the diner, the two row houses facing Washington Ave and the house on Pacific St and the adjoining garages.

This is quite a testament to the anti-development people out there. I'm sure a lot of people appreciate the Washington more now than this garbage and detritus-strewn lot that you see in the picture above. I guess this was what it looked like before 2004.
