Truth comes out on the ouster of Dean Street chef
Nate Smith, newly jobless, talks to Grub Street about why he left-- he was fired. The reason why he was fired? Because they disagreed about the bar, and to a larger extent, the TV that was turned on in the bar.
According to the Grub Street article, Nate "didn’t want to be part of a sports bar, and it quickly started to feel that way." Nate also said that with the TV on, it didn't really feel like Brooklyn.
