After having lived near this 99 Lafayette Avenue rental building, I was always intrigued by how much rents were. Well, this craigslist listing tells part of the story. A 1 bedroom is renting for a healthy $2000 per month. Heat and hot water are included.

The unit is on the second floor, which lends itself to potential noise issues, what with the bus running down Lafayette and the rampant front-door activity to this building.
